I must take the time to commend Brad Daniels for the excellent (above and beyond the call of duty) service he rendered me in the sale of my property. I was in too minds as to whether to sell or not and he encouraged me to put it on the market. The Purpose of this statement is to highlight the performance of one of the agents currently employed at LJ Hooker Upper Coomera QLD one Mr Ray Mackeen
Half way through last year my wife and I decided to place our investment property 17 Antler Place for sale. We have attempted to sell the property in question a couple of times prior with little or no result. With the decision made my wife took to task and called a number of agencies in the local area. After a very short period we decided to list our property with LJ Hooker Upper Coomera mainly due to the way Ray proposed to manage the sale and also his positive attitude/approach.
The seven weeks (from the time contracts were signed to settlement) was probably one of the most stressful events my Wife and I have experienced. We had a fixed term tenancy agreement with our tenants that was due to expire one month after the buyers wanted to propose a settlement date. For the next few weeks our property manger attempted to broker some sort of agreement with the tenants (the tenants were requesting large amounts of money to vacate) but to know avail. At this point in time we prepared for the sale to fall through and had already made plans with our banking institution to refinance for a further period.
When we informed Ray he very calmly took control of the situation and in a very short time frame organised a solution where all parties were satisfied. Ray was able to overcome hurdles and shortcoming where my previous property management agency could not. As a result my wife and I have taken away our other investment property in Mudgeeraba to another agency (if the property had have been in Upper Coomera we would have taken it to LJ Hooker).
In conclusion Ray should be commended highly for his performance which resulted in the successful sale of 17 Antler place. Through his dedication and commitment he not only achieved the end result that my Wife and I were after but also helped us through a most stressful period.
